Het is een Affo!
Wat een leuk en snel werkje was dit :0) De maten komen overeen met het origineel in de Quilt&zo, dat leek me ook wel eens makkelijk ;)
Het is een quiltje helemaal uit voorraad gemaakt, wat ook erg leuk is om te doen en met dit formaat lukt dat ook prima!
Hij meet 55 cm X 60 cm. Dat is inderdaad iets kleiner dan het formaat in het blad, maar ik heb mijn eigen voorraad malletjes gebruikt en dan krijg je dus een iets ander eindformaat. Het aantal sterren en hexen is gelijk aan het origineel.

Such a fun & fast top this was :0) The measurements are roughly the same as the origineel which was featured in the magazine Quilt&zo. I thought that was an easy way for a change ;)
I made it completely out of stash, which is quit fun to do and very do-able with this size!
It measures 55cm X 60 cm, which is a bit smaller than the finished size of the original, since I used templates from my stash also. The number of stars and hexagons are the same, though.

En ja, waar leg je hem dan neer??
Voor nu mag hij op de sidetable liggen, maar dat kan zomaar veranderen LOL! Hij is in ieder geval door zijn formaat lekker makkelijk verplaatsbaar :0)

And then, where is it going to be placed??
For now, it is on the sidetable, but that can change in an instant LOL! It is very easy to move fue to its size :0)

Daar, onderaan rechts, kun je mijn cadeau zien liggen...daar, helemaal uit elkaar geschroefd, bovenop de schuurmachine.
Hij moet toch nog even wachten, want mijn klachten verergerden vorige week plots weer...maar de nieuwe behandeling lijkt te helpen dus ik heb goeie hoop voor komende week! Jippie :0)

There, at the bottom right, you can just see it, my present...there, unscrewed, on top of the sanding machine.
He has to wait a bit longer because my head pains got worse last week...but the new treatment seems to be doing a very good job so I am very optimistic for the week to come! Jippy :0)

Een spontaan cadeautje!

A spontaneous gift!

Eerst mijn zus, daarna mijn moeder en ik maar niet...ik was er ook niet hard naar op zoek maar het bleef wel in mijn gedachten voor het geval dat ik er tegen één aan zou lopen.

First my sister, then my mother, but not me...I wasn't looking very hard but it stayed in my mind just in case I would run into one someday.

Het is een opknapper, maar dat wilde ik ook graag :0)
Oh zo spannend: eerst schuren en poetsen, dan verven...welke kleur??? En wat zal ik er in doen? En bij de Xenos hebben ze van die leuke porceleinen knopjes die er op kunnen :0)
Hij is nu eerst lekker aan het drogen want hij was een beetje vochtig, maar morgen...morgen ga ik ermee aan de slag!
Ik kijk er nu al naar uit :0)

It needs a bit of fixing but I don't mind :0)
Oh so exciting: sanding and cleaning, then a lick of paint...which color??? And what to put in it? And there's a store that sells porcelain knobs for the lids :0)
He is now drying because he was a bit damp, but tomorrow...tomorrow I am going to play with him!
I'm already looking forward to it :0)
