Organising

Bij onze supermarkt krijg je zegeltjes, waarmee je uiteindelijk iets uit een cadeaugids kunt ophalen. Zo ook mijn nieuwe ladenkastje:

Met vier doorzichtige plastic bakken, zodat je fijn kunt zien wat je er allemaal in verzamelt...en het dus niet uit het oog kunt verliezen ;)
Het volgende punt, waar je dan tegen aanloopt is: wat doe je erin? Wat is handig??
Twijfel slaat toe!
Deze stofjes erin...nee, niet handig! Er weer uit en andere er in...Nee! Ook niet handig!

Snap je?

Nu zitten er gewoon mijn 2,5" vierkantjes bovenin en mijn lichte strings onderin, want daar ben ik mee bezig voor de Wonky, dus voor nu...voor nu is dit handig!

Tot er een volgend project komt en dan wissel ik het dan waarschijnlijk weer allemaal om :0)

At our supermarket you get stamps (points) with your groceries, with which you can eventually get something for free from the gift magazine.

It has four plastic, see- through drawers, so that I can keep my stuff in it in sight ;)
The next thing I then encounter is: what to put in it? What works best??
Doubt makes me panic!
Put these fabrics in...no, not working! Out with them and in with other fabrics...NO! Also not a good choice!

Well, now my 2,5" squares are in the upper drawer and my light strings in the bottom one, because the Wonky is still my current project, so for now...for now it works!

Untill I start up a new project and then I will switch it all again :0)

Verrassend genoeg zit de lade voor mijn lichte strings lekker vol!

Surprisingly enough, my drawer for the light strings is pretty full!

Als je dan zo lekker aan het organiseren bent, dan ga je makkelijk verder. Verder dan je eigenlijk bedacht had van tevoren...
En kom je dus ufo's tegen.
Ufo's waarvan je meteen denkt: Leuk!! Wil ik ook weer wat mee doen!

Eerst maar in andere, nu weer makkelijkere opbergplaatsen, ook leuk om te doen :0)
Labeltje eraan (of een simpel briefje waarop de naam van het project staat...) en dan ben ik toch weer even fijn met een ufo bezig geweest!

When you are busy organising you easily do more than you first had in mind...
And then you come across your ufo's.
Ufo's of which you think: Nice!! Want to work on that again, too!

First I put them in more appropriate storing boxes, also much fun to be doing :0)
Label on it ( or a simple piece of paper with the name of the project on it...) and then I have been nicely occupied with a ufo!

Hm, wil ik ook weer mee bezig...maar eerst wil ik de vingerhoedjes af hebben...of misschien neem ik deze ook wel mee op vakantie...wie weet!

hm, I want to work on this one again...but first I want to finish the timbles...or perhaps I will take this with me on holiday...who knows!

Kijk, een UFO!

Look, an UFO!

Ja, jullie zien het goed: Dansende Dames :0)
Eén van de welbekende Ufo's, die ik op zijn to-do lijst heb staan. Gisteren heb ik ze allemaal losgetornd van de andere achtergrond, die grote lap, die ik te groot vind. Ik had er vorig jaar al kussenslopen van de Hema voor gekocht en alles zo netjes bij elkaar opgeborgen...
Maar blijkbaar zit ik in "the flow" om ufo's onder handen te nemen, want het ging gisteren oh zo vlot met loshalen :0)
Meteen daarna had ik een sloop erbij gepakt en een arrangement neergelegd, die ik ook nog meteen goed vond! Altijd mooi meegenomen ;)

Yes, you spotted it well: the Dancing Dollies :0)
One of my Ufo's which is on my to-do list. Yesterday I took them all of their previous background, the big piece of fabric which is just to big for my taste. I had purchased these pillow cases last year and stored them with my Dollies...
Until now! Apparently I am in the Flow for doing something with my ufo's because yesterday went really well with the whole taken apart stuff :0)
Afterwards I took out one of the pillow cases and made an arrangement for my new design, and I immediately liked it :0)

Lekker in de kreukel...ahum, niet op letten aub!
Als je goed kijkt, kun je de armpjes erop geprikt zien, die gaan de sterren en bloemen omhoog houden:0)
Zodra dat er allemaal op zit (wat nog even kan duren want ik appliqueer niet zo snel) dan ga ik kijken waar ik de lege vlakken nog mee op ga vullen :0)
En het allerleukste van zo'n verandering is toch, dat je er dan weer zo lekker veel zin in hebt! Het ligt hier nu naast me op de tafel, zachtjes zingend en wachtend op mij :0)

A bit wrinkly...ahum, don't pay any attention please!
If you take a closer look, you can make out the little arms which are going to be holding up the flowers and stars :0)
When it is all sewn on (which won't be soon because I am not a fast one with applique) I will take a good look on filling the blank spots.
And the most fun of it all is, that you just get a great boost of feeling happy to get going with a "new" project :0)
