To-do-list 2014

Ik doe niet aan goede voornemens...ik vind het altijd zo sneu voor mezelf als ik ze dan toch weer verbreek ;0)
Wat ik wel doe, is kijken wat ik allemaal heb en vooral ook wat ik nog moet afmaken...en dat is best veel...slik...
Maar er zijn ook altijd wel een aantal nieuwe projecten die ik op mijn lijst zet, want zo na die heerlijk versierde December maand is het altijd zo kaal in huis en dan heb je ook wel weer zin in iets nieuws in huis :0)

I don't do those New Year resolutions ...I find it very sad fot myself when I break them very quickly after making them ;0)
But I do check out what I have laying around and especially what needs to be finished...which is always quit a bit...sigh...
And I always put on some new projects on my list, because the house is so empty without the December decorations and I want some new things then :0)

Dus:
De Dancing Dollies...daar moet ik iets mee doen. Ik vind het een te groot project, het origineel dus ik heb besloten hem te verkleinen naar een kussensloop...denk ik nu ;)

So:
The Dancing Dollies...I have to do something with it. I think it is to big as the original so I decided to downsize to pillowcasing size for on our bed...for now ;)

Ik heb wel al een aantal sterretjes en dergelijke ervan en natuurlijk alle dames die al opgenaaid zijn...die gaan er allemaal af...dat wordt nog een klus...gelukkig heb ik anders dan ik altijd doe de rijgdraad in de dames laten zitten, dus ze verliezen niet hun vorm na het loshalen...pfieuw!

I already have a few stars and things and of course the sewn on Dollies...they will all have to come of...which will be quit the undertaking...fortunately I have left the pre-stitches in which I normally take out as quickly as possible, so they won't lose their shape after being taking of...pfieuw!

Er moeten nog wat tops gequilt worden...

En de klosjes, ook zo leuk toen ik vanmiddag de doos weer eens opende :0) Kreeg er meteen zin in!

And the spools, so much fun and when I opened the box this afternoon I instantly wanted to get started again :0)

En nog wat nieuwe dingetjes, zoals een tafelloper op de sidetable achter de bank...en een mini quiltje voor aan het lampje naast mijn bed...en...en...

And some little things like a tablerunner for the sidetable behind the couch...and a mini quilt to hang on my bedside lamp...and...and...

En dan wil ik ook natuurlijk nog wat aan borduren doen, zoals die prachtige borduurtjes die ik afgelopen jaar overnam van Carin (http://cazwa.blogspot.nl/) :0)

And I want to do some embrodery like the sweet little embrodery I bought from Carin last year (http://cazwa.blogspot.nl/) :0)

Ik hoop dat 2014 twee keer zolang duurt LOL...dat heb ik wel nodig!

I hope 2014 is twice as long LOL...I need it!

Fijn, allemaal nieuwe dingetjes :-)

Sweet, all new things :-)

Gisteren gezellig met Mam en Grote Kleine Zus aan het freubelen geweest. Dit hadden we vorige week afgesproken, want het was alweer veel te lang geleden!
En...we gingen eens iets totaal anders maken :0)
Zus had een leuk Duits boekje (waarvan ik de naam als LiBellchen heb onthouden, maar dat kan fout zijn).
Daarin staan de schattigste versierde ballen in allerlei vormen!
Wij hebben gisteren gekozen voor een Octagon, die als speldenkussen kan dienen...in mijn geval is hij dat geworden in ieder geval ;0)

Yesterday Mum, Big Little Sis and I had a creative gathering. We fixed the date last week, because it had been too long ago!
And...we were going to make something entirely different :0)
Sis had a sweet German booklet (which i remember as being called LiBellchen, but it might be wrong).
In it there are THE cutest embellished balls in different forms!
We chose an Octagon, which could be used as a pincushion...well, mine ended up like one ;0)

Ik heb hem gemaakt van een prachtige geweven Moda stof, van de French General serie: Lumiere de Noel. Het is een mooie matte kleur rood op een ecru ondergrond, heerlijk om te voelen!
Samen met vilt, als boven en onderkant: makkelijk om spelden in te prikken :-)

I made it with a lovely woven fabric from Moda, from the French General series: Lumiere de Noel. It's a lovely, not too bright red color on an ecru background, soft to the touch!
Along with felt for the bottom and top: real easy for sticking in pins and needles :-)

Met een grote knoop erbovenop, zodat er een putje in het midden ontstaat. Lekker vol opgevuld ook.
En waar ligt hij op???

With a big button on top, which makes a dent in the middle. Fulled to the max, too.
And what is it stacked upon??

Kijk, hier is ie opgerold. Lekker handig mee te nemen. En let ook even op het zelfgemaakte lintbloemetje voorop! is tie niet superschattig???

Look, here it is all rolled up. Very handy to take with you. And note the homemade flower of ribbon on the front! Isn't it just too cute???

Wat het is? Ik denk dat velen het zullen weten haha!
Het is een oprolbare mat van een mooie patch buitenkant en vlies aan de binnenkant...zodat je losse lapjes van een blok niet wegraken!
Ze had hem gezien bij Klaske (van Ktty's quilts) en gevraagd of ze hem ook mocht maken...voor mij :0) Want ze vond het precies wat voor mij! En dat klopt! Ik vind het zo handig en mooi :0)

Dus Miranda: dikke tuut! Dank je wel :-)

And open!
What it is? Well, i guess most of you will know haha!
It is a rollable mat with a beautiful patched outside and fibre tissue on the inside...to keep your lose parts of fabric for your block in place!
She had seen it at Klaske (from Kitty's quilts) and asked if she could make it...for me :0) Because she thought it would be something i could really use! And that's true! I think it's so handy and beautiful :0)

Ik was snel, zo snel LOL! Carin had de patroontjes van Santa's Village in de verkoop gedaan...en die zijn zoooooooooooooooooo schattig!
Nu zijn ze hier, bij mij, en ik ben er heel blij mee :0)

And last for this blog:
I was fast, so very fast LOL! Carin had put the patterns of Santa's Village up for sale...and they are soooooooooooooo cute!
Now they're here, with me, making me happy and smile :0)

Ik heb ze allemaal uitgebreid bekeken (en weer droog gemaakt na het kwijlen ;0) ) en ik ben er uit...denk ik...
Deze ga ik als eerste maken:

Let wel, het is lang geleden dat ik geborduurd heb, dus het zal weer even wennen zijn ;0)
Maar zodra ik dezen zag bij Carin (http://cazwa.blogspot.nl/) was ik verkocht!
Het zal niet snel gaan, maar dat hoeft ook niet natuurlijk ;-)
Zin heb ik er wel in! Dus zometeen eens even mijn spulletjes hiervoor bij elkaar zoeken!

Mind you, it has been a long time since i've done embrodery, so i will have to get used to it again ;0)
But, as soon as i saw these at Carin's (http://cazwa.blogspot.nl/) i was sold!
It won't go fast, but that's not necessary of course ;-)
But i am looking forward to starting with it! So i'm off collecting my stuff!
